Express entry is a new recruitment model that the Federal Government implemented in January 2015 in order to streamline permanent residency applications. While it was designed to make the process easier, new requirements such has having a positive Labour Market Impact Assessment (LMIA) or a Provincial Nominee approval have made falling under one of the three Express Entry categories more difficult.
The requirements for this Class are as follows:
- Must have 12 months (or equivalent part time) work experience in Canada under proper authorization
- Have Canadian Language Benchmark (CLB) 7 for NOC 0 or A positions, CLB 5 for NOC B positions
- Must plan to live outside Quebec
