Why do I need an immigration consultant?

Hiring an immigration consultant is often the deciding factor on whether or not an application gets approved. Immigration consultants specialize in keeping up to date in the constantly evolving sphere of immigration procedures. In addition, we ensure that the applications we submit are free of any errors, weaknesses or incomplete documents.

How much do you charge per application?

We do not have a set fee schedule for our services. This is because every case is different and unique. While some cases may be relatively simple to process, others can be multilayered and complex, and our fees reflect the amount of time needed to be spent on an application.

Can I pay in installments?

Yes. We provide the option paying in installments or paying once a certain stage of the application process has been reached. Please talk to us for more details on this.

For what amount of time are you considered my consultant?

Does the government charge any fees for submitting an application?

Yes. The fee you are charged will depend entirely on the type of visa and also the size of your family. All application processing fees are non-refundable and can cost hundreds of dollars, regardless of the outcome of your application. This is one of the primary reasons prospective immigrants choose to work with consultants, to make sure that this money is well spent and to increase their chances of a successful application.

At what point in the process am I expected to pay these Government fees?

This again, will depend on the type of visa that you are applying for and any requirements of the office that you apply through. Most of the time, fees are payable upon submission of any documentation. Payment is accepted in a variety of different ways, credit card, money order, certified check or a bank draft.

How long can I expect the application process to take?

Processing times are dependent on the type of application being processed. While some applications take only a few months, others can take over a year. A key aspect of minimizing processing time is submitting a complete and accurate application which is free of mistakes and omissions.

Do all applications for Canadian Immigration get processed under the express entry system?

No. Only applications for certain programs can be done using this new system. Applications made to programs such as the Family sponsorship programs, or the caregiver programs will not be processed using this system. In addition, provincial nominee programs (PNP), are submitted independently of Express Entry Programs.
